Anna Shevchenko calls herself a ‘compulsive storyteller’ – she constantly tells stories to everybody who wants to listen ( or not…) One of those stories, ‘Bequest’, made it to a novel, which was nominated for George Orwell Prize in the UK, and shortlisted for two prizes at the European Literature Salon in France.
A.K. Shevchenko is the author of BEQUEST , THE GAME and two bestselling cultural guides to Russia and Ukraine. She was awarded a residential fellowship by the Hosking Houses Trust in 2010 to write THE GAME. Anna speaks 7 languages and lived and worked extensively in 32 countries.
